Through our global and local manufacturing partners, a broad range of products, flexible distribution models, and custom solutions, we are a new kind of supply partner.We are looking for the perfect balance of someone who: · Follows process, can use company tools, and values structure yet is also flexible, innovative, and contributes to new ways of doing things· Can effectively communicate and collaborate with internal teams to create solutions that work best for the company· Can manage their time and priorities effectively while also adjusting to evolving priorities with ability to adapt and evolve· Has experience in small to mid-size business wearing multiple accounting hats and helping make strategic business decisions· Analytical and logical while remaining agile and solution focusedResponsibilities: · Manage general ledger and financial reporting process, including month-end and year-end closings· Develop financial reports for daily, weekly, quarterly, yearly management review· Develop and track financial KPIs with recommendations as needed to achieve business results· Analyze financial data to identify trends and propose recommended changes· Journal entry preparation and approval· Develop and coordinate annual budget and forecasts· Oversee multi-state payroll and sales tax filings· Oversee and manage client invoicing process and timely collection· Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable· Manage bank and cash flow analysis, including balancing bank accounts and LOC borrowings· Establish processes and controls over all accounting functions· Manage HR functions, including compliance, employee benefits and personnel issues for 15 employees· Manage vendor payments and balance inventory· Liaison with the firm’s external CPA firmRequired skills and experience: · Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Business -CPA preferred· 8+ years related experience, small to mid-size business a plus· Hands-on, self-motivated individual with strong communication, leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills· Must possess strong organizational and time management skills· Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects and staff concurrently· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team· Strong Excel and accounting systems skills, experience in Netsuite a plus· Experience in inventory accounting and controls· Ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities· Detail-orientedJob Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:Health insurancePaid time offPhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payAbility to commute/relocate:Chicago, IL 60608: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Experience:Financial accounting: 5 years (Required)Microsoft Excel: 5 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
