Job Description : Jacksons is seeking an exceptional team player to join our group of skilled staff members and perform accounting tasks our Corporate Accountant. The Corporate Accountant role requires an individual who is detail oriented, highly flexible, focused, a quick learner, and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities. You will not only excel working on your own but will have a solid track record of outstanding teamwork with professionals at all levels. You assist with the month end and year end closing processes and are responsible for account reconciliations and analysis.What will I do as a Corporate Accountant?Here are just some of the things you will do in this role:General ledger entriesGeneral ledger account reconciliationPrepare and review of monthly profit and loss statementsPrepare various excise tax returnsPrepare year end (and interim) work papersSpecial projects and other duties as neededYou will be a great fit if you have: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and or commensurate with experience in accounting is preferredA knowledgebase with computer skills in Excel, Word, and OutlookThe ability to work within a fast-paced environment where teamwork is essentialA history of effectively working independently or as a teamA high degree of accuracy, while focusing on the details and meeting regular deadlinesThe ability to effectively communicate with professionals in all levels of the organizationAn eye for detailStrong skills in data analysis, organization, problem-solving, and computer applicationsPhysical Requirements: The work may be done in a sitting position with no excessive lifting, pulling, or pushing, and limited twisting, bending and stooping.
