Job Description : Accountant ResponsibilitiesJob briefWe are looking for a Corporate Accountant to provide the Development and Real Estate Brokerage departments with support by managing daily accounting tasks.Maintaining the general ledger and preparing financial statements are a large part of the accountant’s day-to-day work. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail.The goal is to contribute to the efficiency of the Departments to ensure the Company makes timely and accurate decisions and accomplish long term success.ResponsibilitiesPost and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recordedUpdate accounts receivable and issue invoicesPreparation of Financial Statements,Assist with reviewing of expenses, costs etc. as assignedUpdate financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when neededPrepare and submit weekly/monthly reportsAssist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closingsPayroll and employee benefits administrationAssist with other accounting projectsRequirementsExcellent organizational skillsGreat attention to detailGood with numbers and figures and an analytical acumenGood understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practicesExcellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. Excel, Quickbooks experience helpful)BS/BA in accounting, finance or relevant fieldJob Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Accounting: 2 years (Preferred)License/Certification:CPA (Preferred)Work Location: One location
