Job Description : JOB SUMMARYThe Corporate Accountant is responsible for applying principles of accounting to track and analyze financial information, and to prepare financial reports. Supports and implements the policies, procedures, and corporate values of the Pearl Companies. Complies with all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWork with appropriate business unit member(s) to ensure proper recording of Cash, Revenues, Expenses, Assets, and Liabilities.Prepare general ledger entries and reconcile reports from various systems on a daily and monthly basis.Complete balance sheet reconciliations.Assist with various month end duties such as preparation of financial reports, management analysis synopsis, and expense fluctuations.Assist with the annual financial carrier audits (as applicable).Calculate and prepare monthly sales commissions.Assist with maintenance of accounting softwares.Prepare and submit monthly sales tax reports and payments.QUALIFICATIONSEducation and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field; 5+ years of professional accounting experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to interface effectively at all levels within an organization.Location: 1003 E Toledo AveJob Type: Full-timePay: $45,000.00 – $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible scheduleFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWork Location: One location
