Job Description : Greater Boston Renewable Energy company is actively looking to bring on a Corporate Controller. This Controller will report directly the the CFO, develop and oversee a top-performing team, and will play an integral part in driving the company’s continued growth.
Currently focused in the Northeast, the firm is current expanding its’ reach across the US and wants to bring on a Controller to help scale and manage the upcoming explosive growth. Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of experience, a CPA license, and experience from a pre-IPO or publicly traded company.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all month-end close procedures and financial statement preparations
Develop and implement any and all accounting related policies, procedures and internal controls
Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting packages and support budgeting process
Support internal and external auditors and prepare technical memos as needed
Collaborate with FP&A team to streamline reporting processes
Manage direct and indirect tax matters as needed
Hire, supervise, and mentor a high-performing team of direct reports
Implement new financial processes tailored to the business as it experiences continued growth
Qualifications:
CPA
10+ years of progressive accounting experience required
Prior Big 4 or large regional public accounting experience desired
Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting
Proven leadership capabilities and interpersonal skills
