POSITION PURPOSE:
The Corporate Controller is responsible for managing the financial operations to achieve and ensure accurate, timely and consistent performance of all functions pertaining to client accounting (including client account maintenance, billing, and collection management), reconciliation, accounts payable, and the day-to-day operations of financial tracking.
SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY TO POSITION
Maintain the accuracy and timeliness of financial/accounting processes and reporting in accordance with the Company’s policies.
Perform monthly cycle accounting including: timely review and submission of expenditure for payment by accounts payable, working, monthly journal entries, prepaids, accruals, maintenance of fixed asset ledgers.
Prepare monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
Reconciles the monthly payment report from third party billing company to bank statement to ensure all funds were deposited.
Enter all charges under the correct accounts in QuickBooks.
Creates individual accounts for newly admitted clients so that they may have access to their personal funds during their treatment experience.
Ensures appropriate collection of funds from the client account if there are funds (i.e.: copays, airfare, etc.) due at the time of discharge.
Manages and executes the collection of copays, deductibles and airfare amounts.
Insuring that each client has access to funds for grocery shopping. This includes the management of funds allocated to food cards.
Manages the accounting of weekly food cards and funds for weekly cigarettes for clients.
Secure all deposits and withdrawals and that there is accurate accounting of petty cash.
Oversees administrative functioning of the facility in an organized and professional manner.
Management and collection of pharmacy expenses through the maintenance of a specialized pharmacy log.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Pay Range $100,000 to $120,000 annually

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Knowledge of employment laws for federal, state and local agencies.
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 2 years of Accounting experience.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
CPR certification preferred.
KNOWLEDGE AND TRAINING REQUIRED AT TIME OF HIRE:
Knowledge of the Principles and Practices of the discipline.
Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards.
Demonstrates Proficiency in Communication & Written skills.
Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Client Confidentiality laws.
Knowledge of Drug-Free Workplace Policies.
Knowledge of Workplace Violence.
