(RELAM) is a lessor of railroad maintenance-of-way (MOW) equipment, which is used to maintain critical railroad infrastructure. Our fleet includes over 1,200 pieces of equipment and the company employs more than 50 associates that service North America’s critical railway infrastructure.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESRecord daily banking activity and reconcile monthlyPrepare and file sales/use, highway and other miscellaneous tax filingsMaintain leasing equipment and PP&E fixed assets and depreciationAssist with month end closeRecord journal entriesServe as backup for AR and AP functionsPerform any other special duties, projects or analyses as directed by the companyUpdating various excel spreadsheets utilizing formulas/functions, lookups and pivot tablesPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of three years experience as general accountant or similar roleMinimum of bachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceGreat communication and team-orientedAdvanced MS excel skills a mustExperience with NetSuite a plusSomeone who is highly motivated, willing to take on multiple responsibilities at once and able to think outside of the boxHas the ability to work comfortably under pressure and meet tight deadlinesDetail oriented and organized with good understanding of financial and operational controlsCOMPENSATIONCompensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience. A customized package including base salary and discretionary bonus will be developed for the finalist candidate.
