Job Description : RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce’s client, a world class financial services firm in New York, NY is seeking a Tax Manager. This role will be 3 days in office & 2 days remote. The candidate will be primarily responsible for the preparation and filing of the quarterly and annual tax provision for a publicly traded US multinational corporation.

Key Responsibilities include:

Assist in the calculation of the consolidated & separate company quarterly and annual tax provision
Assistance with Prepare provision to return true-up calculation upon filing of the tax returns
Prepare quarterly tax estimates at the federal and state level for the Corporate and Partner Level
Assist with the state and federal IRS audits
Perform tax research
Remain up to date on current tax practices and changes in tax law

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Minimum 5 years of corporate tax provision experience in a national/regional public accounting firm &/or large company tax experience
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of programs, specifically Excel
Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate results to the team
Technical writing and research skills
Ability to effectively analyze, organize, and prioritize workflow according to internal and external deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

MST a plus
CPA designation preferred
Partnership tax provision experience is a plus
Working knowledge of Oracle software used for general ledger is a plus
OneSource & Corp Tax software for tax return preparation is a plus
