Job Description : We are looking for a Cost Accountant to join our team! You should possess excellent analytical skills along with the ability to combine and analyze data. Our ideal candidate should possess proven work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant or similar role and experience with MRP Easy.Track product costs by vendor and impact to Bill of Material by product linePerform month end inventory reconciliation and month end inventory journal entries.Perform cycle counts to verify MRP inventory balances.Compute monthly margin analysis by product type.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze data in excel using pivot tables or other advanced excel functionsThorough knowledge of accounting procedures related to purchasing, receiving, and inventory managementAbility to work with outside auditors and manage year end physical inventory count with plant staffExperience with accounting MRP systems and QuickBooks is a plusExcellent computer skillsAdvanced technical knowledgeJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:Health insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayExperience:Accounting: 2 years (Preferred)Cost accounting: 2 years (Preferred)ERP systems: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location: Remote
