Job Description : Kelly Services is looking for a Cost Analysist for a company in Lake Wales, FL.
M – F: 8am-5pm Direct Hire Opportunity
Salary based on experience up to 75K
Job Duties:
Strong analytical abilities with ability to learn new tools and implement improved processes. Ability to work with and support matrixed team.
Partner with operations and finance to understand and analyze product costs including separation and understanding of fixed and variable portions of labor and overhead costs.
Work with sales finance to determine current costing of items and be able to provide recommendations on savings opportunities to help win additional business.
Develop and track operational KPI’s with a focus on variance analysis and ability to increase understanding throughout the business.
Help to create and maintain inventory reporting including accuracy of quantities and locations.
Troubleshoot and correct accuracy issues and assist in root cause analysis to improve future state process. Provide needed support for inventory reconciliations and validation including audits.
Prepare analysis and recommendations on process improvements both in operational and inventory management areas.
Support standard cost update and validation to accurately allocate material, labor, and overhead costs to their associated products.
Document processes and develop SOP’s for costing and inventory training and personnel onboarding.
Prepare month end journal entries and reconciliations for cost and inventory. Ad Hoc analysis creation and review with recommendations and context to explain current state situation and optimized future state
Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. . Experience Required
Minimum of 2 years, preferably 5 years, of analytical experience ;accounting or finance experience preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in Excel including vlookups and pivot tables.
