Job Description : Local Private Country Club is seeking a qualified Club Accountant. The Club Accountant is responsible for all course records, revenue and expense tracking and working with the General Manager in reaching the club’s financial goals as established by the annual budget.Responsibilities for this position include:-Performs financial, accounting, human resources and payroll processing functions by providing reports and support as needed-Performs daily revenue audits, Bank deposits and daily posting of revenues and receipts-Calculate and submit local, state and federal tax forms and payments as necessary-Performs Accounts Payable entries for supplier invoices and interdepartmental transfers into accounting system-Interacts effectively and in a timely fashion with members and suppliers regarding A/R and A/P-Manage inventory reports-Tracks sales commissions and employee payroll through ADP-Purchasing procedures, accounting controls, chart of accounts and miscellaneous forms-Performs orientation of new personnel-Administers and explains respective assigned HR policies, programs, and procedures, and assures compliance-Ensures accurate and timely input of information regarding new and dismissed employees and timely submission of payroll information-Coordinate Worker’s Compensation accident reports and related follow up-Maintains necessary procedures for confidentiality relating to business and employee issuesJob/Skill Requirements:Associate or Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred 1 – 4 Years of experience in AccountingProficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office applicationsMust possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.Unquestionable integrity and personal ethics.Strong attention to detail, passion for excellence and a great attitude*Please Note: This job description includes, but is not limited to, the duties and responsibilities noted above.
