Job Description : Overview:

The Customer Education Trainer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering creative educational solutions for complex district and school needs. This trainer is a professional capable of working independently with little instruction, providing feedback to other full time and contract trainers, understanding the global impact of customer education, and striving to make product training and professional development a success for the customer and profitable for the company.
Responsibilities:

Conducts onsite, remote, and group training events on a for fee basis via traditional classroom and technology-assisted platformsApplies product knowledge and learning delivery methodology to provide high quality product training services and professional education eventsPartners with customers to analyze and resolve gaps in the customer practice and product functionality, including recommendations on business policies and strategies where applicableProactively identify and manage customer issues and risks and lead or assist in timely escalation and resolution within and outside of Customer Education and the Services departmentMaintains a high level of knowledge and proficiency on company products, including new product releases and enhancements to existing offerings by working individually, reading available documentation, and interacting with cross-functional peersProvides feedback, advises and contributes to the design, development and maintenance of training programs
• Shares best practices, product knowledge and effective training and delivery methods with other trainers • Contribute to the continuous improvement of procedures and processes with focus on increasing efficiency, improving quality and client satisfaction, and reducing riskReporting and communicating frequently with Director of Customer Education to provide objective summary reports regarding needs of customers and presenting inventive solutions for meeting those needs while aligning to business goalsMeet and/or exceed utilization and customer satisfaction goalsAll other responsibilities assigned by management
Qualifications:

To be considered for and to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Qualifications include:Education and/or Experience
o Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred (Education, Communication, or another related field)
o 3 years of related experience in a fast-paced training environment on both technical and educational subject matters.
o Experience in K-12 Education a plus
o Master’s degree is a plus
Specialized Knowledge or Certifications
o Broad knowledge of PowerSchool products and how they are used in K-12 Education
o Working knowledge of computer skills; with an emphasis on:
Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Word)
HTML is a plus
Customer Relations Management tools – Salesforce is a plus
Online meeting/conference tools
Various browsers, mobile and tablet devices o Experience with Office 365, SharePoint, and other technical collaborative environments
Skills and Abilities
o High-level performance with attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
o Create and deliver outstanding customer experiences and adapt/respond to different types of clients with ease
o Strong training skills, including exceptional communication and presentation ability
o Exceptional ability to work cohesively with a team across multiple locations
o Success with customer satisfaction in a service capacity
o Ability to successfully handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, operating in a demanding work environment
