We focus on Biotech, Healthcare, Software, Manufacturing, Retail, Non-Profit and Services industries across the US.The D365 Support Consultant (Accounting) plays a crucial role in designing and implementing software solutions in specific functional areas, configuring the application, developing business process documents and performing the gap-fit analysis. A proactive, independent and hands-on consultant will be the best fit for this role.The ideal candidate will have some accounting software experience with a mix of hands-on experience in business applications. This position will offer the opportunity for a recent graduate or inexperienced analyst to quickly contribute directly to a larger medium sized company and in an environment focused on development and training of its employees. For an experienced analyst, it will allow for an environment of autonomy in the context of our overall strategy.ResponsibilitiesBe responsible for leading the implementation of the Accounting and Finance Modules in the D365.Act as the dedicated resource for the support of business systems when implementation is completeParticipate in data analytics and process improvement projects to make better use of information and systemsAnalyzes customers’ business requirementsConfigures solution in ERP to meet client requirementsDevelops functional design specifications for solution gapsProvides User trainingCollaborates with Project Manager and other Workstream members to ensure the overall solution meets client requirementsProvides additional applications/training support as necessaryDevelops supporting deliverable documentationWhat we are looking forThe “right candidate” rather than specific experience level. We will train/mentor the right candidate with less experience including recent graduates. Candidates with functional experience in D365, SAP, Tally, Quickbooks, Microsoft AX, Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP), Netsuite, Baan, JD Edwards or Oracle, can apply. Candidates with BPO, Process background in Accounts Payables, General Ledger, Accounts receivables can apply. Candidates with an educational background in Bachelors of Commerce (B.Com), MCom or MBA in Finance but have no industry experience can apply.The following experience/knowledge will help you be successful in this role:In depth knowledge of financial treatment, and awareness of subscription software, revenue recognition processesGL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets knowledge desirableBachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business, IT or a related field preferred, or related experience will be considered.
