Job Description : Role: Dance Teacher Experiential Educator (Part-Time)
Responsibilities: Your primary responsibility will be teaching Dance (from grades Kindergarten to Grade 9) in a progressive manner. This is a part-time position. The total teaching hours per week would be about 10; planning and crew – another 8-10 hours. Responsibilities include:
Instilling the love for arts in students
Creating a progressive Dance curriculum across grades
Integrating arts deeply into a project-based curriculum
Developing strong one-to-one relations with students and parents
Modify teaching styles to fit the learning styles of various students
Maintain a well-managed classroom and positive learning environment
Documenting student progress for report card
Additional responsibilities include:
Managing events, both within and outside the school
Supervising students out of class, such as in the hallways
Participating in parent outreach / marketing initiatives
Admissions counselling
Prerequisites
Prior Experience of a minimum 2 years of teaching Hindi in a school setting is required.
Intense passion for, and rich experience, in arts. Demonstrated creativity in past work.
Love for learning and research
Flexible, friendly and good at establishing quick rapport with students
Ability to work in teams
Humility
Salary (CTC) Monthly CTC: 15,000 – 20,000. Selection Process
