Job Description : Director of Land Records and Tax ServicesMower County is accepting applications for the Land Records and Tax Services Department for the Director of Land Records and Tax Services position. Starting wage is $46.7650/hour ~ $52.2209/hour or $97,271.29 ~ $108,619.55 annually dependent on education and experience. This is a full-time non-union position.Under the indirect supervision of the County Administrator, the Land Records/Taxpayer ServicesDirector (LRTS) provides department leadership, vision and strategic direction, to the assessor, recorder, GIS and tax payer services departments. The duties and responsibilities of this job are performed with significant latitude for independent judgment in accordance with Department and County policies, Federal, State, and Local regulations and are based on detailed knowledge ofDepartment operations. This position is the most senior management level in the department.This position is responsible for providing professional and senior level direction to the department. Incumbents plan, direct, develop, coordinate, and manage all activities related to the department or function including the development of programs critical to the County’s ongoing operation.We are looking for a leader to support Mower County’s dedication to excellence, service, diversity, inclusion and belonging for all. This position will lead the County’s goal of consistent, customer- focused and equal access for all.
