Role Description

Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop Embedded Software for industrial products using RTOS, C and C++ especially for Industrial Communication Protocols.

Software architecture development and implementation.

Requirement Gathering, Coding and Debugging, unit test, Protocol certification , work with SVT team to finish system validation

Technical Skills:
In-depth understanding of Object Oriented Programming in embedded environment.

Experience in Linux based development environment and knowledge of RTOS.

Proficient in C/C++, Hands-on experience with Python, cross-compile tools chain, GCC/GDB, and open-source software

Comprehensive knowledge of microcontrollers like ARM, STM32 series, Cortex-M series, PIC series.

Good understanding of RTOS concepts. Experience on FreeRTOS, MQX, Raspberry Pi shall be added advantage.

Should have hands-on experience using debuggers and cross compilers. Should know IDEs like Eclipse, IAR, MPLAB, Micro C, Code Worrier, STMCube .

Proficient in Industrial communication protocols like EtherNet/IP, Modbus, Modbus/TCP, Profinet, EtherCAT, CC-Link, MQTT. Knowledge of wireless communication protocol like Wi-Fi, BLE, Zigbee shall be added advantage.

Proficient in TCP/IP stack development.

Proficient in protocol debug using Ethernet traffic analyzers, Good software debugging and problem-solving skills

Well versed to SDLC(Software Development Life Cycle) and experience on working with cross function team

Knowledge of Software Configuration Management using Bitbucket, Git, SVN is essential.

Good Initiative and positive personal personality , Self-motivation

Qualifications Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above and major in communication/Electronics engineering, computer science or equivalent

7+ years related experience in embedded software development
