Job Description : Job Title –Java full stack Architect.
Location- Pune
The area caters to Credit Risk management function for the bank. This area is responsible to assess Credit
Risk, Manage exposure to risk across various counterparty portfolios, setting up portfolio strategies and overall risk appetite, assign credit ratings to the counterparties, Manage and monitor credit Limits across various dimensions and also provide inputs to create regulatory risk reports.
We are in the journey of building a Strategic platform “GCRS”, which will be used by entire bank for various credit risk management tasks across all categories. The platform is an integrated application covering end to end credit risk workflow, automated in-system workflow, quality controlled data, enable multitasking on screen and enable adding future functionalities.

The Principal Architect influences the organisation and the engineering community in particular to deliver solutions that comply with the Architecture Blue Print and with the Target State Architecture of the Bank.
They have an advanced understanding of IT Industry trends and enterprise-scale methodologies, processes, techniques and technologies for delivering effective IT solutions that achieve the target state architecture. Governance, security and quality assurance is consistently and comprehensively implemented for their division.
Collaborating with solution and Product Management, Architect plays a critical role in aligning teams to a shared technical direction toward the accomplishment of the vision and roadmap. Architect support solution development by providing , communicating and evolving the broader technology and architectural view of the solution
Responsibilities
Work with stakeholders to establish technical product vision and enable its delivery in an iterative manner
Participate in planning ,definition and high level design of the solution and explore solution alternatives
Provide leadership and guidelines on sustainability and suitability of the solution
Support continuous improvement of the team’s process
Skills
Ability to work in fast paced environment with competing and alternating priorities
Ability to balance business demands and IT fulfilment in terms of standardisation ,reducing risk and increasing IT flexibility
Experience in the IT delivery and architecture , application design and programming in a large enterprise working on mission-critical IT systems
Proven history of implementing technology roadmaps and providing subject matter expertise in specific technologies
Excellent communication skills , both written and verbal

Technical Skill sets
This is individual contributor role with hands on experience in Java, Oracle, Angular and UNIX.
Have working experience in cloud platforms like Google Cloud /AWS/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift and DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins
Also have good experience in TDD , BDD and Scrum methodologies
Have good hands on experience on Hadoop and Bigdata
Candidate having 15+ years of proven experience around required skills and knowledge.
Understanding of Risk business and Architecture
Converting business requirements into technical design
Candidate to add value and contribute in establishing tech centre of Excellence in Pune.
Java : Java 8 features – Performance tuning in Java, understanding of Java data structures, Restful communications Exposure to springboot and spring cloud. Implementation of design patterns in Java, Multithreading support in Java 7 and 8, use of streams, Lambdas, Java data access patterns and tools like hibernate, Java app deployment in tomcat, weblogic etc., various ways of debugging a 3 tier java application.-
Very good exposure to API based service design. Understanding of microservices and service architecture principles. Working knowledge of tools and technologies supporting service design like API gateways (Zuul), service registry and discovery (eureka, consul), Kubernettes deployment, cloud security concerns etc.
Oracle: Have worked with complex queries, understanding of Vault technology is plus, Oracle performance tuning experience, data modelling and design, candidate having knowledge and experience around enterprise data strategy design is plus.
Must have working knowledge of cloud native application design. Experience around migrating applications to cloud (Google cloud preferred).
Hands on development in Angular or any other JS framework.
Certifications around any of above technologies.
Would be good if candidate worked on front office technologies with Investment Banking and Risk domain
Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrix organizations
Required Skills/Experience
Participates in design sessions and contribute to robust design
Contributes and adheres to the definition of development and SW standards to implement/reflect DB guidelines (naming conventions, encryption, and security settings)
Develops source code, including descriptions, for all software Components in accordance with Detailed Software Requirements specification, the functional design and the technical design document or backlog
Participates and guides others for code reviews
Integrates software components following the groups integration strategy
Verifies integrated software components by unit and integrated software testing according to the software test plan. Software test findings must be resolved
Contributes to root cause /problem analysis
Fixes software defects/bugs and responsible for code quality and ensure zero-defect in their code
Collaborates with Functional Analysts and technical Specialists to complete work, as required
