Job Description : Our locally recognized end client is in need of an entry/Junior level Accountant for a 6 month ONSITE CONTRACT opportunity. This is a full time (40 hour per week) position which requires the ability to work first shift and pays a MAX of $23/hr W2.
What You Will Be Doing:
Preparing monthly payroll and benefit journal entries, account reconciliations for payroll and benefit related accounts, and preparing biweekly payroll cycle interface file and upload into the general ledger.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
1 to 2 years of relevant experience REQUIRED
Prior payroll accounting experience and ability to collaboratively work with the Payroll Department REQUIRED
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with a particular expertise in advanced Microsoft Excel functionalities (i.e. pivot and look-up tables, etc.) HIGHLY DESIRED
