Job Description
Position Overview:
This position is within the FRI Data & Platform Analysis Team and will be focused on leading the teams involved in production processing and reporting activities including strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Be responsible for BAU activities spanning from data sourcing, data validation and completeness, adjustments processing and performing reconciliations
Executing overall operating model, procedures for functional areas in the reporting space
Managing client relations, communications and presentations
Supporting business users of the FRI application with User queries, Issue Resolutions
Identify and execute process improvements to the existing operating model, tools and procedures
Interacting with Controllers, Report owners and RFT (Risk & Finance Technology) partners
Act as an interface with Control partners, ensuring compliance with risk and controls policies
Escalating issues as needed to the appropriate team(s) and management
Partnering with projects team through the full project life cycles impacting FRI
Leading programs/initiatives for reporting automation and operating model optimization

This position requires strong interpersonal and partnership skills. The candidate will be required to work with a sense of urgency and be able to balance and prioritize numerous activities.
Qualifications

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related discipline
7+ years of financial services experience, and/or accounting/controller background
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and Project Management skills
Control mindset and exposure to establishing controls
Experience in managing staff which includes coaching, hiring, performance management etc.

Soft Skills:

Ability to lead and influence without having positional authority. Strong team-orientation and leadership skills
Strong verbal and written communication skill with the ability to present information at varying levels of detail depending on the audience
Strong process and project management skills
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, effective under pressure
Strong work ethic and keen attention to detail and accuracy
Aptitude and desire to learn quickly, be flexible, and think strategically
Client & business focused; able to work collaboratively and build strong partnerships with clients and colleagues at all levels

Technical Skills :

Overall strong desktop skills including Excel and PowerPoint
Visio, SQL/ other database, Tableau skills would be an advantage
Strong data analysis skills Familiarity with US Regulatory reporting (E.g. Y9C, Call, CCAR etc.), controllership functions, brokerage products, and US GAAP accounting principles would be an advantage
