Job Description : Naleah Investments provides services primarily in property management including landscaping, carpet cleaning, construction, and cabinet manufacturing. This position has primary responsibility for accounts payable and accounts receivable and will also work closely with the President of sister company Umbrella Properties on projects. We are looking for a full time Accountant that can operate independently and we will train the right person whose personality fits well into our organization. This position offers a full set of benefits including, medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, as well as PTO, paid holidays, matching 401k, and a relaxed work environment.The position requires someone who will be able to follow procedures but also suggest process improvements. An ideal candidate will be someone comfortable with managing the full range of responsibilities from basic financial analysis to mailing checks. Supervision and training for this position will come from the Head of Accounting.Must have at least 3-5 years of experience.Responsibilities include:Review or enter AR and AP for multiple entitiesMatching expenses to revenue for job costing analysisRun monthly reports and assist in budget analysisAssist in budget creationAssist in managing vendor informationAssist in filing 1099’sAssist in creating monthly statements for multi-family housing tenantsPerforming basic accounting responsibilities for small cabinet shopOther miscellaneous projectsExperience with QuickBooks and Yardi a big plusJob Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceDisability insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayExperience:Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
