Job Description : Senior Fund Accountant – Hybrid Schedule
Dallas, TX
Searching for a Fund Accountant to help build a team for new Downtown Dallas location. Full range of funds to work with collaborative environment. Qualified candidate will have PE-style fund accounting, investment accounting and enjoy an autonomous work environment.
Responsibilities:Fund accounting – managing books, records, reconciliations, allocations, capital calls and distributionsCapital statementsIRR calculationsInvestment accounting – financial reporting and investment structuresWork on breadth of fundsFull cycle for each fund including capital activity for close, performance reporting, calculations/pricingCulture of developmental training, taking ownership, transparency, reliability and autonomyPerform other duties as required
Qualifications:2+ years of fund accounting experience, investment accounting preferredPublic/private/admin experience with closed end fundsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, MBA is a plusCPA preferredDisplay ability to manage multiple projects, meeting tight deadlinesAnalytical and problem solving skillsTeam player who works well in a changing environment
