Job Description : Junior Accountant Position

LHH is partnering with a great client to help fill their open fund accounting jobs in King of Prussia, PA.

To Qualify, you must be have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Math, or Economics and be willing to learn a new skill set. Our client is known for its amazing campus surrounding the office buildings making it a fun and energetic place to work. They are willing to train in all areas of this position and the ideal candidate will have a passion to learn new skills. You will earn between $24.65 per hour in this temp-to-hire position.

Responsibilities:

Communicating with the funds’ investment advisors on a daily basis
Calculating funds daily investable cash, expenses, and income
Processing shareholders activity and reconciling to the funds’ transfer agent
Maintaining daily accounting records
Analyzing daily changes in funds values in relation to market value
Participate in group and departmental projects

Qualifications:

Recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree
Knowledge of the mutual fund industry preferred
Strong aptitude for numbers
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work under pressure
Detail orientated
Ability to recognize potential problems and escalate when needed
