Job Description : Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists in the biweekly processing of payroll, payroll journal entries and related functions.
Performs account payable duties for all operating expenses (new vendor setup, entering vendor invoices, W-9 and 1099 compliance and weekly processing vendor payments).
Submits, monitors and processes all monthly and weekly promotions, including creating invoices for promotional items and supplier bill backs.
Tracks all sales incentives and advertising spend by brand.
Prepares monthly sales tax, liquor and wine tax returns.
Provides support with the month-end close including month end journal entries and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
Completes all monthly bank reconciliations and daily cash reconciliations.
Maintains working knowledge and understanding of Encompass ERP software and Netsuite financial reporting software.
Assists with the year-end audit and any compliance audits.
Serves as backup to accounts receivable daily processes, daily cash tie-out, brewery payables and front desk answering and directing incoming calls.
Works closely with a four person team and reports to the CFO.

Education and/or Experience:

5-7 years of general accounting or related work experience required.
Excel software and general ledger experience required.
Accounting degree preferred but not required.
