Job Description : Requisition Summary
This entry-level General Accountant will process SAP system payroll for Distribution Center employees, coordinate the Division’s incentive compensation program, assist with monthly financial results, forecast and inter-company/division cross-charges. This position will also provide administrative support for the purchase order system (Company Store), Visa Corporate credit cards, and for the North America Division and Worldwide Controllers.
This position will report to the Manager of Financial Analysis.
Job Functions / ResponsibilitiesProcess payroll for hourly employees in US parts distribution centersProcess Inter-company/division transactionsCoordinate and prepare support for the Executive Incentive Compensation programDevelop and publish monthly financial results reporting and presentationsAssist with forecast reportingPrepare monthly account reconciliations and record journal entriesMaintenance of vendor records in the purchasing systemAdministrative support for North America Division and Worldwide Controllers, Corporate credit card program and company store systemPerform and/or assist with assigned statistical inventories and Parts Distribution Center auditsPerform SOX testing as assignedSupport internal and external audit requestsOther duties and accounting functions as assigned
QualificationsBA / BS In Accounting or Finance0-2 years of progressive accounting experience with increasing responsibilityExcellent analytical capabilities and attention to detail with a “big picture” focusStrong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projectsStrong written, verbal and interpersonal skillsAbility to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines and self-motivatedUnderstanding of US GAAPStrong PC skills with Excel, Word, Access, PowerPointMust be able to travel periodically within the US and internationally
