About this opportunity
As an Engineering leader, you will be responsible for setting the Engineering standards and practices and driving the DevOps practices, take Customer Adaptations from requirements to production.
What you will do
Lead the team in honing the best software development practices, technical design and implementation to be successful.
Builds and sustains an environment of resourcefulness and creativity and encourage innovation
Collaborate with the Product Owners, Program Managers, and other stakeholders
Drive your team’s capability and performance through coaching, mentoring, performance feedback and career development
Contribute to the knowledge of the software development group.
Work closely with the business and technology partners for the implementation and roll-out across multiple markets.
Actively look for opportunities for Innovation and creative problem solving.
Perform strategic planning; financial planning; administration and management of department.
You will bring
Software Engineering experience with demonstrated thought-leadership and functional influence and partnership demonstrated by a successful track record of enabling business through these technical decisions
Outstanding customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements, underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solution
Superb communicator with proven experience in collaborating with business stakeholders.
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proven track record of delivering large scale projects and willingness to roll up sleeves to get the job done
Payments and fin tech experience will be well regarded. Excellent Social and communication skills
Docker, Kubernetes
CI/CD platforms- e.g. Gitlab, Jenkins
Java 1.8.x or higher
Python
