We are committed to solving identity problems through grassroots research and social purpose initiatives.More about this Team and ProjectWe’re looking for an ambitious and focussed HR & Operations Manager to head up our growing team in India. You’ll be responsible for the operations of Yoti India, with a particular focus on managing all aspects of people operations in our Bangalore office, including HR processes and recruitment.You’ll lead, coach, inspire and support the team, making sure the team follows all our standard practices and adheres to Yoti values and processes, providing guidance on all HR and operations-related matters.In this role, you will:OperationsOversee the Bangalore operation, working closely with the UK Operations Manager to ensurealignment of Security Centre processes and practices.Act as a change leader for improvements and optimisations.Act as the key liaison between the Bangalore and London teams (including CFO, People Manager,Operations Manager, CIO, Head of NOC, Head of QA, Head of Yoti Sign, CPO, VP of Engineeringetc)Ensure all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are measured, communicated and met.Prepare teams for all security and other internal and external audits as they occur and maintainrecords/proofs for all such audits.Own and manage designated process controls under our SOC2 and ISO27001 accreditations, andown and ensure compliance across all teams.Ensure that the Bangalore office operates as a professional, efficient workplace.HR and RecruitmentChampion the company’s values and culture partnering with business leaders, support leadersand the HR team to drive high quality execution of programmes such as succession planning,talent acquisition, talent development, compensation planning, performance management,health and wellness programmes and engagement.Execute the talent strategy for the office, inclusive of growth initiatives, leadership development,acquisition of early talent, and diversity and inclusion.Be overall responsible for recruitment.Share timely payroll inputs, OT inputs, other communications with the HR team, conductinterviews and play a key role in planning/strategizing and hiring the forecasted/requiredheadcount for the team as per ramp-up plan/expansion plans.Sponsor and drive events and programmes designed to increase employee engagement.Provide coaching and leadership to the regional HR team to ensure functional excellence.Proactively undertake specific/special projects on Process Improvements, PerformanceImprovements, Operational excellence, Improving quality, Standardisation, Documentation,Training effectiveness, Feedback & Process updates; and participate on additional project teamsas assigned.Ensure company policies are communicated clearly and administered in compliance with all locallabour laws and reporting requirements.Proactively problem solve and act as the point of escalation on elevated HR issues.*Requirements*EssentialExperience of working within a generalist HR function at senior level in a fast paced business thathas scaled significantly – including talent acquisition, talent management, organisationaldesign/development, succession planning, leadership development, compensation; compliance;planning; employee communications; training and development and employee relations.Previous operations management experience.Ability to build relationships and influence teams and individuals at all levels of the organisation.Independent, self-starter able to set agenda and drive progress with little direction.Prior experience managing significant change/project initiatives including change managementexperience.Critical thinking and decision-making, analytical problem solving, business astuteness.Willingness to confront and deal with sensitive issues, acting with discretion at all times.Ability to learn quickly and possess excellent product knowledge.DesirablePrevious experience working within the tech sector.Exposure to security accreditations such as SOC2, ISO27001.BenefitsBenefits package includes: Medical Insurance cover of 5 lakhs.Life Insurance / Accidental cover.Gratuity as per law- PF as per law.18 days paid leave + 6 days sick leave per year.10 Declared Holiday per year.Quarterly Team Outing kitty.Eligibility for Training programs.This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved with a company doing incredibly complex projects, in a fun and exciting environment, where creativity is rewarded – this is part of the Yoti DNA.
