Our office located in Denver has an immediate need for an experienced, detail-oriented, Job Cost Accountant to support the company in carrying out the responsibilities of the Accounting Department. *Preferred experience using Service Titans software.*This is a full-time position, which offers benefits after 60 days of employment. Starting pay range is $33.65 to $36.05 per hour, dependent upon experience. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:· Payment Collections including process and collect funds through finance company.· Receive projects and verify payment.· Submit appropriate documents to bank, and financing company.· Verify deposits and balance checks that have been received.· Verify all credit card payments have been processed.· Send out daily report which highlights outstanding payments.· Responsible for setting up reminders for all appropriate techs and following up on outstanding payment collections.· Verify FSR commission calculations and update commission calculator.· Verify Installer task pay.· Ensure correct general ledger codes are used in work orders.· Complete job costing sheet for that project/folder.· Complete close out and post projects.· Create any pay change notices and e-mail appropriate techs.· Produce sales reports and other company reports as needed.· Assist with payroll.· Enter invoices and record payments in Quickbooks.· Back-up Customer Service Representative.SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar discipline preferred, but not required· Minimum of 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified· Knowledge of accounting practices and principles· Ability to sort, check, count and verify numbers· Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork· Ability to analyze and solve problems· Ability to use an automated accounting system· Ability to effectively communicate, orally and in writing· Basic data entry and/or word processing skills, advanced knowledge of Excel· Knowledge of payroll policies and procedures.BENEFITS: Company cellphone401KMedical, Dental, VisionLife InsurancePaid VacationPaid HolidaysWe are an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
