We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated, and energetic individual to join our team as Bookkeeper in a rapidly growing environment at our upcoming manufacturing facility in Middletown, NY.Learn more about us on our website: www.guardianbooth.comAbout the RoleGuardian Booth is seeking a motivated team player who possesses excellent communication skills, a friendly and positive attitude and demonstrates strong leadership skills and a desire to take challenges head-on. The role will require the candidate to work from the company’s office and temporarily commute to our facility in Orangeburg, NY until the Middletown, NY facility is fully operational.Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe ability to Post Credit Memos in Workwise software daily.General working knowledge in Generating Invoices, Credit Memos, and Account statements.Tracking all the Customer Payments and allocating the same in the software.Performing periodic Customer Account reconciliations and Performing Bank Reconciliation.Assisting management in Customer Aging Analysis.Acting as a point of contact for all the accounts receivable-related functions.The ability to investigate and resolve any irregularities or inquiries.Providing timely and accurate reports and information to management and the sales team.Posting AP vouchers (Invoices & Payments) in the designated system.Ability to assist in Month End & Year-End closing activities.Ability to review expenses and payroll as needed.Ability to manage company legal administration, document filing and third-party communication.Working knowledge and reliability to Act as a Backup of the Finance team during their absence.Assisting with other administrative tasks as needed.Managing Bookkeeping responsibilities for our real estate holdings.The ideal candidate will have: Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent work experience.1-3 years of proven Bookkeeping or Accounting experience.Familiarity with basic financial and accounting principles.Work experience that demonstrates skills in administration, statistical analysis, and attention to detail.Ability to prioritize shifting responsibilities and manage expectations.Experience using Quickbooks.Working experience using Google suite and Google Drive.Experience using Workwise software.Honesty, kindness, and respect for diversity in the workplace.Exceptional written and verbal communications.Outstanding teamwork & Collaboration skills.Confidentiality and adherence to compliance.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong time management and organizational abilities.Self Starter.Why work at Guardian Booth?Work for a growing thriving company that genuinely cares about its employees’ professional and personal growth.Here at Guardian Booth, we offer: Health insuranceLife insurancePaid HolidaysPaid time offFull-time schedule of 40 hours per week; 8-hour shift Monday to Friday.Position Type: Full-TimeStart date: ImmediatePosition salary: $ 40,000.00- $45,000.00 per year.Position Location: The Bookkeeper must be willing to temporarily commute to our facility in Orangeburg, NY until the Middletown, NY facility is fully operational.Reports to: Controller of Finance & AccountsJob Type: Full-timePay: $45,000.00 per yearBenefits:Health insuranceLife insurancePaid time offSchedule:Monday to FridayApplication Question(s):Are you comfortable with the salary range of $40,000.00-$45,000.00?Education:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Bookkeeping: 3 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
