The Jr. Staff Accountant will assist and be responsible for supporting the Senior Staff Accountant and CFO with their amazing accounting skills. We offer the opportunity to learn and solidify your skills into a future Staff Accountant on our team, we need a true team player wanting to expand their career goals.What Your Week Could Look Like: Responsible for supporting the timely and accurate accounting closeEnsures proper recordkeeping of purchases for use in tax preparation and periodic auditsPerform various general ledger accounting tasks in a multi-entity environmentPrepare monthly bank reconciliationsAssist with analysis of key balance sheet accountsResearch reconciling items and provide management with explanationsPrepare and load Journal EntriesPrepare and maintain AccrualsSales taxSupport Accounts Payable teamMust Haves: Education & Experience – Associates or bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar and Minimum two years’ accounting experience (public and/or private), Accounts Payable Experience· Computer Proficiency – Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software, Microsoft Office Suite (or similar), knowledge of Sage (preferred)· Problem-solving – Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyses information skillfully· Adaptability – Adapts without difficulty to changes in the work environment.
