Job Description : Our client is a large international manufacturing company is seeking a talented Junior Accountant to join their team in East Brunswick, NJ.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$24-$26/hr

Position Overview:

The Junior Accountant should possess strong time management, attention to detail, and solid communication skills. Junior Accountant support upper-level accounting managers and senior accountants, utilizing their problem-solving skills by helping resolve many issues. Junior Accountant should have a Bachelor’s degree in their field of expertise, typically accounting or finance and be adept with technology.

Responsibilities of the Junior Accountant:
Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable, document bills and supporting documentation
Ensure timely payment of invoices and paying monthly payroll
Post journal entries, analyze financial statements, and prepare financial reports
Prepare quarterly budget under the purview of senior management
Assist in completing audits and internal control evaluations
Qualifications for the Junior Accountant:
Microsoft Excel (i.e pivot tables, VLOOKUPS)
Accounting Softwares and ability to learn quickly
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Ability to multi-task
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
