We are a rapidly growing, fast-paced and entrepreneurial commercial real estate investment company based in Uptown in Dallas, TX. The firm focuses on real estate investment and asset management, specializing in acquiring/developing, repositioning and managing multifamily assets throughout Dallas-Fort Worth. We manage over 4,000 apartment units across 15 multifamily assets in DFW.

As we’ve doubled in AUM over the last 12 months to $750M+, it is imperative that we find a Junior accountant that can support our Director of Finance and Accounting.
What You Will Be Doing
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily Cash Balancing.
Profit/Loss Analysis.
Monthly General Ledger Journal Entries.
Monthly Preparations of Financial Statements.
Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
General Ledger Analysis.
Preparing documentation for external auditors.
Cross training with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
What You Need for this Position
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is a MUST

” 1+ years of Accounting
” Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Competencies:
” Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
” Advanced knowledge of accounting mathematical formulas
” Excellent written and verbal communication skills
” Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
” Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
” Ability to keep business matters confidential
” Service and teamwork-oriented
” Outstanding written and verbal communication
” Self-starter, able to work in a team environment
” An individual that wants to be on the ground floor of a high-growth real estate private equity firm
