Job Description : SUMMARYReporting to the Senior Accountant of Fox Lifestyle Hospitality Group, the Junior Accountant will assist in safeguarding the assets and financial stability of the company. Duties encompassed in this role include but are not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, execution of payroll, financial reporting, credit approvals, maintenance of bank balance as well as the implementation of both short- and long- term financial projections and goaling. In this way, the Junior Accountant will play a key role in supporting the maintenance of financial functions within FLHG as well as support a solid foundation as the company expands.GENERAL DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS Culture:Epitomize all that Fox Lifestyle Hospitality Group’s culture represents – respect for our guests, our product, our work family, and our communities. Infuse Fox Lifestyle Hospitality Group’s core values into all interactions, policies, and programs (respect, diversity, authenticity, accountability, development, passion, and kindness)Outline concise, purpose-filled expectations and communicate in a fashion that feels clear, inclusive, and funStrategic and detailed in future planning, level-headed in approach, consistent in messagingAccounts:· Record & reconcile sales, expenses and deposits· Prepare Daily Cash and Revenue reports for distribution to the management team· Manage vendor invoices and proper GL coding· Oversee the entire AP process, including invoice management, approvals tracking, and resolution of vendor inquiries to ensure timely and accurate payments· Manage and perform all aspects of the payroll process for weekly payroll utilizing Oasis payroll system· Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts· Reconcile bank accounts· Prepare and record monthly journal entries and identify and resolve any discrepancies.· Set up prepaid accounts for expenses, licenses, permits and reconcile to the general ledger.· Participate in the execution of month-end closing.· Prepare and record monthly journal entries and identify and resolve any discrepancies.· Research and match credit card transaction exceptions.· Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and appropriate internal control procedures.· Receive and distribute daily mail to correct person(s)· Travel between location is required· Other duties and responsibilities as requiredEmployee Relations:Maintain a strong ability to work with a team in responding rapidly to ad hoc financial reporting requests.
