Position Overview
This position will work within the Finance Operations department. Primary responsibilities include assisting in maintaining our general ledger across multiple entities and currencies, preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, including consolidated financial statements and preparation of account reconciliations. This position will report to the Vice President, Controller. Finance Operations includes Accounting, Reporting, Treasury, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Tax.
We are looking for a candidate with strong analytical and problem-solving skills who is motivated and would like to develop a career as part of an evolving finance department within a dynamic and growing company.

This position can be located in the following area(s): Port Washington
Responsibilities
Support month-end and year-end close of multi-currency subsidiaries by preparing and recording journal entries, including intercompany, fixed assets, accruals, and deferrals
Analyze balance sheet accounts, prepare reconciliations of sub-ledgers and bank accounts, review P&L expense variance analysis, propose and process necessary adjustments and distribute analysis to account owners
Assist in planning, developing, and maintaining tax compliance and provision processes
Assess internal controls and review risk areas
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Develop relationships with finance team members to facilitate analyses and resolve queries
Lead annual audit with external auditors and prepare analyses and reports as needed
Perform special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed
Qualifications
3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
CPA preferred
Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and use sound judgment in decision making
Strong written and oral communication skills and an ability to communicate with internal and external clients at all levels
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and deliver results
Experience with NetSuite or a general ledger software is a plus
Strong MS Office (especially Excel) skills a must
