Job Description : JUNIOR COST ACCOUNTANT – CONSTRUCTIONEco Minded Solutions is a San Diego premier architecture and landscape design + construction company. We need to immediately hire a Junior Cost Accountant for the accounting team.Learn more about the company here: https://ecomindedsolutions.com/The position will be responsible for a range of accounting duties supporting the Company’s accounting operations and the month and year end close process. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, well organized, have a strong accounting knowledge and will be able to be flexible to a variety of roles and responsibilities including preparation of various cost analysis and assisting month-end close.General Responsibilities:Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department;Assist with AP invoices data entry;Request and maintain accounting documents and records;Match accounts payable invoices to purchase orders and receivers/packing slips;Ensure that all entries are coded to the correct GL and dated appropriately;Process the release from vendors and subs,Assist with cost tracking;Assist with job cost analysis;Assist with audits;Assist with other ad-hoc requests and projects as needed.Qualifications:Minimum two years of progressive accounting experience working in a dynamic and high growth environment;Bachelor degree in accounting preferred;Experience working in the Construction industry is a plus;Proficient in the use of Builder Trend;Strong MS Office skills including superior knowledge in Excel;Good planning and organization skills to balance and prioritize work;Strong understanding of accounting theory; working knowledge of GAAP and internal controls;Strong Financial Analysis background;Comfortable in a fast paced, results oriented and hands on environment;Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills;Adheres to a high level of confidentiality and work place professionalism;Ethical, detail oriented, and hard-working team player;Positive and motivated self-starter;Dependable, punctual and reliable.Please submit resume, compensation requirement with cover letter for consideration.No Work RemotelyJob Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Day shiftCOVID-19 considerations:All customers are required to wear a mask.
