To keep pace with our explosive growth, Playwire seeks a Junior Staff Accountant.Essential Functions:Follow our company’s established accounting processesProvide support during auditsPrepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, including fixed assets, prepaid expenses and various accrued expensesPrepare monthly bank statements and credit card reconciliationsSupport accounts payable functions to ensure accuracy and accurate tracking of expendituresPrepare accounting journal entries based on accrual accounting GAAP StandardsAd hoc projectsQualifications:Associates degree in AccountingRelated experience is a plusStrong knowledge of Microsoft ExcelKnowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions or similar software is a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in a fast paced environment and consistently meet deadlinesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
