Job Description : Roles and Responsibilities: To receive samples, record in the register, label with identification number and arrange for the distribution of the samples accordingly.To perform all routine tests in the lab.To be responsible for timely performance of the test and complete of reports especially urgent reports.In case of any problems, bring it to the notice of the Manager.To participate and contribute to departmental quality initiatives.To be aware of departments performance and objective.To carry out data collection/support in data collection.To adhere the safety norms of the hospital and follow both patient safety and staff safety rules.To perform any work when assigned by the supervisor.Label collection containers, vacutainers etc. with labels either generated by computer/hand written with patient demographics & noting down the time of collection on the requisition form. Ask the patient to make a fist & do exercise to visualize either cubital fossa/dorsal veins of the hand & apply tourniquet about one inch above the elbow/wrist jointRequirements: Minimum qualification B.Sc./M.Sc. in Biotechnology /MLT with registration from concerned departmentsProven experience as a lab technician, a minimum of 0-1 year preferablyRespect to patient’s confidentialityCompassionate and approachableResponsible and trustworthyGood communication skillsJob Types: Full-time, Regular / PermanentSalary: ₹8,000.00 – ₹12,000.00 per monthEducation:Diploma (Preferred)
