Job Description : Job Title: Head – Sales and MarketingDepartment / Location: Sales & Marketing DepartmentReports to: DirectorSupervises: Sales Managers /Marketing Executive/Sales Executive(PAN INDIA)Job Summary· To setup & establish new channels of sales like, Government Tenders NGO’s ,Farmer Producing Companies, Joint Venture ,Corporate Sale ,E-Commerce ,Other Agri. Portal Sale· Pitching for Government Tenders· Collate market intelligence from sales team, Secondary sources. Design & execute A complete marketing strategy for IRIS Products.· To develop new sales business by appointing dealers in the Pan IndiaKey AccountabilitiesNew Channel Development· Developing the new business for the company through direct sales· Deeply understand the local market and competitive environment.· Need to fix appointment with the director of NGO & Farmer Producer Companies who are working for agriculture sectors.· Maintaining and increasing sales of company’s products.· Develop sales and marketing strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned area.· Achieve set Targets.· Establishing, maintaining and expanding your customer base.· Increase business opportunities through various routesGovt Tenders,· Govt tenders is a new business channel for the company which has to be developed. Relevant research & Data to be sort from market· To Be on constant look out for Govt tenders & Pitch for the tendersMarketing & Brand ManagementMarket Intelligence· Study the company history and existing market of the company, research competitor information, product information· Monitoring competitor activity, market intelligence, data analysis based on data submitted by the sales team & Secondary sources· Conduct market research, by making customer questionnaires and focus groups.· Support the Sales team by providing with relevant data about sales potential, and product knowledge· Contribute & develop, marketing plans and strategies.Brand Management· To create a brand “IRIS Polymers” as an entity which the customers, Vendors & the employees will identify with certain values which have to be brain stormed, defined/ designed & created· Branding events to be conceptualized and executed towards establishing “brand awareness: & “Brand reinforcement”· Product brochures to be designed aligning to the branding· Website & Social media to be modified if required to align to branding· A media plan to be designed as budgets (ATL/BTL)Advt , Events & Social Media· Map out and implement marketing promotion strategy, manage marketing activities for E-commerce, Joint Venture, NGO’s, FPO, Corporate sales· Leverage the internal and external resource, conduct various marketing campaigns and activities to increase brand exposure and awareness in the market for increasing the sales share in markets.· Organize and attend events such as conferences, seminars, and exhibitions.· Maintain and updating customer databases. Preparing monthly newsletters/mailers and sending them to data base customers.· Manage the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers catalogues.
