Job Description : CTM CPAs & Business Advisors provides a full suite of accounting, tax and consulting services to generations of individuals and business clients, including a large group of franchised owner/operators (e.g., McDonald’s, Culver’s, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, etc.)We are seeking a PART-TIME accountant to work approximately 30 hours a week, several weeks each month in a friendly work environment. The rest of the time is all yours! Prior public accounting or similar experience is required.We provide high quality services and are looking for detail-oriented individuals to help continue this tradition.Responsibilities:Monthly preparation of financial statements (recording sales, deposits, payroll and disbursements;Reviewing financial statements (balance sheet, income and cash flow statements as well as selected financial ratios);Making accruals and reconciling bank statements; andReconciling cashless and credit card accounts.Qualifications:Strong computer skills, including Excel;Time-management skills;Knowledge of accrual-based accounting; andFamiliarity with fixed asset depreciation (Sec. 179 Expense).Our Lincolnshire office has has a fitness facility with state-of-the-art equipment and a deli cafeteria with indoor/outdoor lounge areas!To learn more about our firm, visit www.ctm-cpa.com.Job Type: Part-timePay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hourBenefits:Flexible schedulePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Monday to FridayApplication Question(s):Are you able to commute to our Lincolnshire, IL office?Education:Associate (Preferred)Experience:Accounting: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
