Job Description : We are looking for a Controller to develop accounting policies and oversee all financial procedures of our company. As a Controller, you’ll monitor the company’s financial status, review quarterly and annual budgets and manage accounting transactions. To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and experience with risk management. Ultimately, you’ll make sure we comply with accounting regulations, maximize profits and mitigate risks.You must work with public companies and have experience with 10Q’s and 10K’s very recently.ResponsibilitiesPreparation of all payments are completed on time (including accounts payable and bank deposits)Review quarterly and annual financial statements and footnotesPreparation of quarterly Form 10q and annual Form 10kPrepare of quarterly and annual SEC review/audit work papersAnalyze costs and profitsDocument and monitor accounting policiesProvide for all the Q’s and K’s as a public companyReport on financial status on a regular basis and create ad-hoc reports when neededMaintain accurate and up-to-date filing systemsPrepare for and work with external auditors for every quarterEnsure compliance with accounting and tax regulationsDetermine all cash payments and provide all invoicesSkillsWork experience as a Controller and with QuickbooksReconcile the bank and PayPal accounts & invoicesHands-on experience with general ledger accounts payable and accounts receivable functionsExperience with cash management and risk assessmentGood knowledge of accounting softwarePrepare cash flows and projections and assist with budgetingAbility to work with tight deadlinesCPA or CMA preferredJob Type: Part-timePay: $75.00 – $100.00 per hourBenefits:Flexible spending accountPhysical Setting:OfficeSupplemental Pay:Bonus payCOVID-19 considerations:All customers, if not fully vaccinated are required to wear a mask and all employees must be fully vaccinated including a booster shot with proof of shots please.
