Job Description : Payroll and Benefits Accountant-RemoteOur client on the East Coast is currently seeking a Payroll and Benefits Accountant. The position is 100% Remote. Hours are 8:30am-5pm Monday through Friday.The ideal Payroll and Benefits Accountant must be proficient with Excel and have experience with journal entries, general ledger reconciliation, and benefits and payroll accounting.Responsibilities of the Payroll and Benefits Accountant Reconciling benefit and payroll related liability accountsPerforming journal entries for payroll and benefits accountsAssisting the payroll department by providing benefit and tax related adjustments as neededAccurately entering information into system in information while meeting deadlinesRequirements of the Payroll and Benefits AccountantMinimum 4 years’ experience working with benefits and payroll accountingMinimum 4 years’ experience performing general ledger account reconciliation, journal entries, and month end closeExperience with self-funded benefits a plusProficiency in Excel required (pivot tables/Vlookups)Deltek Cost Point experience a plusAdditional Information: Compensation: $30-$40 per hour#QUADJob Type: Full-timePay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hourSchedule:Monday to FridayExperience:benefits and payroll accounting: 4 years (Preferred)reconciliation, journal entries, month end close: 4 years (Preferred)Work Location: Remote
