Job Description : Physiotherapist Physiotherapy Assistant to provide direct patient care services under the direction and supervision of a Physiotherapist. The Physiotherapy Assistant will be responsible for documenting patient treatments, changes in condition, and other pertinent information as required. The successful candidate will also provide treatment and appropriate therapeutic techniques specific to the age and condition of each patient.Responsibilities & Duties: He/she should capable: · Treat patients by using therapeutic and self-care activities designed to improve function under the direction of the Physiotherapist.· Monitor a patient’s activities to make sure they are performing them correctly and to offer encouragement· Contribute to meetings and case conferences to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care plans for patients.· Document patient’s weekly progress in appropriate records· Maintain the office treatment areas, equipment, and supply inventory· Instruct patients, their families, and any other caregivers in skills and techniques of the patient’s treatment program, under supervision of the Physiotherapist· Able to understand the need and resolve problems· Modifications and accommodations· Develop relevant Monitoring systems and maintain an MIS· Compassion: OTAs must have a strong desire to provide physical and emotional support.· Interpersonal Skills: The ability to interact with patients and their families, team members, physicians, and other health care professionals is essential. You need excellent social skills, as well as superb listening and speaking skills.· Physical Strength: You must be able to help lift patients, and kneel, stoop, and stand for a significant part of your day.· Attention to Detail: The ability to precisely follow a treatment plan an OT has developed is imperative.· Patient confidentiality: Respect for the patient’s privacy and confidentiality regarding medical records.Required Qualification and Skills: · You will need an associate BPT, Diploma/ Degree from a Physiotherapy therapy program· Minimum 2 Yrs. of experience in the practical implementation of EIPs with the various condition of Children with Disabilities· Must be comfortable to work in the rural sector· Willing to travel and cope with the harsh weather conditions· Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and Kannada both oral and writing.· Basic computer knowledge & Microsoft OfficeJob Types: Full-time, Regular / PermanentSalary: ₹20,000.00 – ₹30,000.00 per monthSchedule:Day shiftExperience:total work: 1 year (Preferred)
