Job Description : RSM’s Private Client practice is looking for a dynamic client service representative (CSR) to join our team. At RSM, our Private Client practice is rooted in strong relationships based on a deep understanding of what matters most to our clients. Our team of first choice advisors is aligned to serve family offices, closely held businesses and their owners, ultra-high net worth individuals and their multi-generational families and private equity fund owners. We take a holistic approach to advising our clients and in doing so we collaborate with our client’s team of professional advisors to develop tailored comprehensive solutions.

Exposure to challenging accounting, bookkeeping and tax preparation work
Customized annual goal setting, career advisors and coaches with real time feedback for developmental growth
You will develop your technical expertise, build long-lasting relationships and gain experience by working on a high-performing collaborative team dedicated to solving complex business and family issues while providing excellent client service. As a CSR, you will be responsible for the following, which are focused around your technical expertise and ability to work as a collaborative team member to deliver excellent client service as part of the integrated private client team:
Performance of accounting services, including in-house bookkeeping and bank reconciliations to provide support for our day to day services to our clients
Maintenance of client depreciation schedules utilizing firm tools and software
Preparation of excel and other documents to support the tax compliance process
Preparation of weekly payroll processing
Preparation of tax returns including individual, property tax, payroll, department of revenue, employment security, and labor & industries
Basic Qualifications:
Associates degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
Minimum 1 year experience in accounting, including financial statement preparation, general ledger work, adjusting journal entries, payroll reports or sales tax reports
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to work as part of a collaborative team
Excellent client relation and interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with clients to answer questions or to collect necessary information for client service engagements
Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and take ownership of assigned tasks
