Job Description : About the Position:
The Manager – Security & Governance will be a technical leader accountable for delivering industry best practices and executing customer implementation projects related to security and governance while driving new revenue through identifying new opportunities and increasing user adoption.
Responsibilities:
Lead and execute the technical implementation of projects to ensure successful customer deployment and adoption of Egnyte solutions with a focus on Security and Governance. Work with customer stakeholders to:
Understand the sensitive content unique to specific verticals, like finance and healthcare, and regulations, like GDPR, GxP, etc.
Craft policies to identify, safeguard, and manage the lifecycle of this sensitive content
Recommend approaches to manage and remediate issues related to sensitive content exposure, sharing, permissions, and potentially malicious actions
Recommend approaches to achieve compliance goals and appropriately manage the full content lifecycle
Develop an effective and efficient operational plan for the Egnyte solution that achieves company goals
Act as liaison between customers and internal teams such as Sales, Engineering, Product Management and Technical Support to solve technical problems and propose new feature development
Engage multiple constituents at the customer organization – Business users, InfoSec and Information Technology (IT)
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects with strict deadlines
Communicate professionally and succinctly and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Qualifications:
Proven experience with security and governance domains. Excellent understanding of data governance, risk management, compliance, content classification, remediation processes, regulated and unregulated data.
Experience with security solutions involving classification, data access governance, data loss prevention (DLP), encryption, GRC, IAM, cloud security, and lifecycle management
Experience discussing security policies, procedures, and solutions with customer stakeholders pertaining to content/data.
Strong technical skills that cover four or more of the following areas:
Windows/Linux Server operating systems
Microsoft Active Directory and other IDPs
Network troubleshooting experience
Virtualization experience (VMWare, Hyper-V)
Storage platforms NAS, SAN a plus
Windows, Mac desktop experience
Scripting experience (Python preferred, SQL, PowerShell)
Prior experience implementing Enterprise software or supporting Enterprise applications in a technical capacity for a SaaS environment.
Strong experience in customer-facing solution implementation roles (remote and onsite)
Excellent customer engagement, presentation, and communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to adapt to a quickly changing environment
Fluency of spoken and written command of English. Any other language is a plus.
Engagement with pre-sales activities, Proof of Concept (POC), and product demos.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline preferred
10+ years of relevant technical and Sales function experience
