Our client, a rapidly growing IT managed service provider, is looking to add a Project Accountant with Quickbooks experience to their team. You will get to work from home 3 days a week and come into their beautiful office in Peachtree Corners on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This position will report directly to the Controller.
If you are a Project Accountant or an experienced bookkeeper with project accounting / project invoicing experience who has QuickBooks experience and are looking for a great company where you can grow and be supported, then this may be a great opportunity for you.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create and Issue Recurring Monthly Invoices
Coordinate recurring invoicing reconciliations
Reconcile dynamic recurring invoicing items with A/P Specialist
Create and Issue Procurement/Resale Invoices
Verify Cost of Goods for Procurement/Resale Invoices
Create and Issue Project related invoices
Coordinate project invoicing with Connect/Project Management
Coordinate with project coordinator for Project related COGS
Manage Project Accounting process
Posting Incoming Customer and Vendor Payments
All Accounts Receivable Functions: Collection, Escalation and Reporting including:
Monthly A/R reconciliation
Resolve incoming A/R inquiries and payment issues
Month End Reconciliation (Freight, Resale, Billable Travel, LV and Field Services)
Enter Revenue Recognition Journals
Enter Procurement/Resale and Project Accounting Journals
Processing Bank Deposits for incoming manual payments
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
8-10 years minimum experience as an accountant or full charge bookkeeper
Experience with project work and have dealt with project deposits, project invoicing, progress invoicing, and revenue recognition based upon project completion
Quickbook experience
Salary $65k-70k / year plus great benefits
