Are you ready to join a family of professionals who encourage and motivate you to become your very best?Visit our Careers Page at www.pegasusresidential.com/careers EOE.Your Role as an Accountant: Create and review monthly financials for a portfolio of 12-15 communitiesAssist in preparation of annual budgetsAnalyze monthly balance sheet reconciliationsAnalyze monthly financial statements and post journal entries as needed, on both an accrual and modified-cash basisAssist with year-end auditsMonthly bank reconciliationsCommunicate effectively with community owners and onsite managersExcess cash calculations and projections as neededEducation and Experience: Four year degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experienceAt least two years of experience in real estate accounting preferredProficiency in use of Microsoft ExcelStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to multi-task to meet required deadlines without immediate supervisionKnowledge and understanding of GAAPExperience with OneSite is preferredExperiencePreferred2 year(s): Property AccountantEducationPreferredBachelors or better in Accounting or related fieldJob Type: Full-time
