Preference will be given to someone who has worked on logistics and supply chain projects.Candidates must be able to develop REST APIs using the Python/Django framework to be consumed by the frontend ReactJS framework and be able to write clean code, adhere to best practices, be process oriented and above all, do a good job at documenting the work done. The candidate in this role should be able to demonstrate strong grip on Python/Django.Key Responsibilities: Take on development of key modules in the application.Help design and implement functional requirements, with the best practices followed in the industry.Documenting spec for the API interfaces in consultation with the mobile app development team.You will be responsible for day-to-day development tasks across the Software Development Life Cycle assigned to you.Code review on a regular basis and ensuring code quality and adherence to company coding standards.Key Skills: Good command over spoken and written EnglishOrganized and detail orientedPrior experience developing a solution in PythonHands on developing code in Python, Django and Django REST frameworkExperience developing REST APIs for a Single Page Application (SPA) where the frontend framework is preferably ReactJSExperience with JIRA/TFS for AgileStrong Object Oriented conceptsFamiliarity with design patternsExtensive experience working in MySQLDatabase Designing, ORM experience requiredSDLC & Agile development methodologiesSoftware Configuration ManagementPython signalr client and signalr coreHTML 5.0, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS 3.0, Less, BootstrapPrior experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologyExperience Required: Should be hands on with coding in Python, Django and similar python frameworksAgile development methodology with ScrumUsage of Source Control with branch per task methodologyPrior experience working on Item Tracking systems like JIRA, TFSPrior experience with DevOps will be preferredShould have experience with full lifecycle development of at least three medium to large scale projects end to end, i.e. from inception to deployment.Desired Personality Traits: Be able to stay focused towards project goalsHave a passion for creating great software and solving difficult problems; you live for itAccept the challenge and rapid growth potential of a fast-paced environmentFluent and proactive communicator, both verbal and writtenPossess a positive attitude towards work, responsibilities and othersUse time effectively and bring a strong work ethicDetailed oriented and self-directedPreferred Educational Background For This Role: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology/Computer ScienceOR equivalent industry exposureJob Types: Full-time, Regular / PermanentSalary: ₹400,000.00 – ₹1,000,000.00 per yearBenefits:Health insuranceSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Performance bonusEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)
