Amazon Payments Offline Team is a growing org with a mission is to enable the fastest, most convenient, trusted and rewarding way for offline customers to pay, and to become the most preferred partner for our offline stores. We are looking for QAMs to lead the charter for Basic/Pro/Smart Stores Merchants.
As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will create and implement a strategy driving the quality of our products to a world class level while managing a team of Quality Assurance professionals. In addition to experience with building and leading successful test teams, we’re looking for someone to drive quality through both software and process improvements and drive engineering excellence across multiple development teams.
The successful Quality Assurance Manager will be obsessed with quality improvement, experienced and highly committed to creating world class automation for regression and feature testing, able to develop and drive a high-level test and automation strategy, as well as take a hands-on approach to implementing that strategy. In this role, you will:
Engage with Product and Engineering leaders early in the product cycle to influence product development and develop test plans.
Own test strategies for products that are at different stages of lifecycle: national scaleup, early pilot as well as brand new initiatives.
You will work with business and development teams to understand product vision and requirements
Take part in hiring and developing a Team on engineers
Understand how all elements of the system software ecosystem work together and develop QA approaches that fit the overall strategy
Be responsible for development of test strategies and creation of appropriate test harnesses
Oversee the development and execution of test plans and monitoring and reporting on test execution
Work with a team of SDETs and QAEs to ensure the highest quality product delivery
About the team
The team owns set of services that powers merchant registration and post registration experience for Amazon Pay in India. In addition to this the team has 3 major tracks 1) Merchant Experience – Onboarding UX, offline merchants everyday use UX, merchant integration.2) Customer Experience – Payment experience, Post payment experience.3) External Merchant Offline Pay tech – Core data & payment integration – Merchant core data & processing, Offline only payment, Merchant settlement. As a part of post registration experience for Smart Stores and Pro Stores, the team has built a desktop-based merchant dashboard which provides one stop solution for Transaction History, Bulk Refund, Merchant Hierarchy and Communication mechanism.
Experience with large scale distributed systems
Demonstrated ability to think strategically while remaining hands-on.
Prior experience with agile methodologies and a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of React Native a plus
You are comfortable creating and driving a product roadmap.
