Job Description : Real Estate Controller/CFO$250K – $300K + EquityPrestigious real estate conglomerate (residential, multifamily and commercial) seeks entrepreneur with 7+ years (CPA a plus) real estate/property accounting, corporate accounting, reporting for multi-entity set of books as well as diversified financial analysis utilizing Yardi Voyager. Establish and maintain strong internal controls. Direct and manage property management accounting, lease administration, CAM, escalations as well as working with development teams on a daily basis. Responsible for process improvement and recommend solutions. Perform periodic reviews of financial reports, budgets and report to senior management. Ensure compliance with terms of all management, lease and operating agreements as well as loan documents. Prepare financial statements, month-end close, strategic planning and forecasting as well as cash flow/treasury functions. Manage and oversee all financial transaction recording and reporting for real estate portfolio. Participate in enhancing accounting technology systems. Oversee internal audit programs to ensure compliance and tax preparation performed by outside auditors. Evaluate and advise on financial impact on long range plans. Preparation and distribution of annual, quarterly and monthly consolidated financial statements. Make sound recommendations to enhance efficiency in accounting and reporting functions. Work closely with financial team and CEO. Strong communication, presentation, accounting and analytical skills. Any low income, affordable housing and HUD Section 8 a plus. MS Suite.
