Job Description : (Updated 2-23-22 for Remote Resource Need) Seeking Cost Accounting Manager or Director level candidates willing to work on a project that is 6 months or longer.

Vaco is working with a growing company in the Metro Atlanta area to help find an experienced REMOTE Cost Accounting Consultant. Pay is listed at $50-$85 an hour based on experience and is negotiable; and the project is expected to last up to 6 months.
As a Cost Accountant Consultant your typical day may involve:
Develop and manage standard costing process
Analysis of margins, variances and inventory
Experience with multiple ERP systems preferred
Advanced Excel proficiency required
Conversion from average costing to standard costing
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
At least 5 years’ experience in cost accounting including extensive standard costing experience
CPA or CMA designation highly preferred
Experience with SAP desired
Strong communication skills and ability to work with individuals of varying levels of responsibility
Commitment to remaining on and successfully completing projects as assigned
