Job Description : Must Haves: 5yrs experience in a corporate accounting role at an enterprise levelCPA certifiedBachelors Degree (Business focused)Strong and proficient experience in Financial statementsExeperience conducting variance analysisGAAP reporting expertPlusses: Big 4 Accounting experienceHealthcare backgroundStrong Analytical mindsetDay to Day: A Healthcare client of Insight Global is looking for an experienced and proficient Accountant/Financial Analyst to join their team to help manage a medicare advantage company within their organization. This will account for 50% of their time daily is pertaining specifically to this account/company from a reporting standpoint. Common daily tasks will be to conduct account reconciliations, complex variance analysis’ to be presented to management and C Level leadership, recording journal entries, and reporting on a GAAP basis. This role will incorporate high level software usage using tools from KPMG to track, audit and complete tasks.This team operates on a business day month end close and not a calendar day month end closing period. Other benefits to working on this team include operating on a normal corporate GAAP status rather than Fund Accounting, a strong retention and low turnover within the department, and having the ability to work on high level solutions such as diversitites, mergers, joint counts.
